How much do services cost?
The exact cost of your services will be determined by the number of days, and hours, of care per week. Please contact us for an estimate of what your care needs will cost.
Are services available 24 hours, 7 days a week?
Yes. Our services are available for as little as four hours a day to 24 hours, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
Can Quality First Senior Care provide cleaning or taxi services?
Quality First Senior Care gladly provides such services as light housekeeping, laundry, ironing, etc., in addition to transportation to doctors appointments or grocery shopping. We understand these are some of the common services our members are in need of. However, please keep in mind we are not strictly a cleaning or taxi service.
Will I get to choose my caregiver?
During the initial conversation and in-home consultation we will document your preferences and services required. We will then select the caregivers that best fit the member's needs and personality. Upon an introduction meeting with the selected caregivers, the member may choose the caregiver they prefer. Once a caregiver is assigned, all of the involved parties will review the Plan of Care to ensure that everyone agrees and understands what services are to be provided.
Will my family member always receive care from the same caregiver?
Consistency is one our highest priorities when it comes to the comfort of our members. We understand that a strong rapport and trust with a caregiver is important to a successful home care experience. However, some care situations require multiple caregivers, such as 24-hour care, or an unexpected illness or planned vacation. To prepare for these situations we will have back-up caregivers trained and prepared to step-in ahead of time. If at any time you would like to request another caregiver for any reason, we'll search for a match until your satisfied.
Can Quality First Senior Care help with medications?
While we cannot administer medication, we can assist with pre-measured medication packages, provide medication reminders and document a confirmation that medication has been taken. We can also prevent overdosage and report any concerning side effects.
Can I change or cancel service at anytime?
